Brimming with excitement and anticipation, 38 children were overwhelmed when Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation held one of their Community projects at the hospital Oncology Ward.
The children ranged in age from 1yr to 14 yrs.
Each child was gifted a special Lego box and a Pink Phoenix draw string bag to carry their pieces in so not to loose any on the way home. Building Lego keeps the children occupied all day while waiting for their treatment as well as an opportunity to interact with each other in the oncology ward.
Even the butterflies and the needles in their arms could not dampen their excitement and joy at seeing their Lego boxes.
Thank you to the sponsors and volunteers who make these projects a reality and a huge Thank You to our Community who support all the Pink Phoenix Events.
