Launch Kids 4 Life
- May 2014
Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation is proud to announce the launch of their latest initiative, Kids 4 Life.
The six children currently in this Oncology ward are all under treatment for blood related cancers and range in age from 2 to 12 years. Robbie Eddles, Keegan Cooke, Micah Peters, Joshua Welgemoed, Danielle Latsky and Jayden Rampursad... You are all such little WARRIORS and we are so blessed to know you!
As their immune systems are compromised, 4 of these children are in total isolation in ICU and unable to interact with anyone other than parents and medical staff. Many have spent weeks and months in isolation... so you can imagine the joy on their faces when their mundane daily routine was interrupted by ice cream, laughter, Sean Baker our photographer and the buzz of fun and laughter, with some crazy dance moves from Joshua.
Colleen, Kelly, Jody, Helene, Laverne and Sheila... we are in awe of you as the mothers of these children for the faith, love and devotion you have for these little Angels of yours who are fighting this battle against cancer. You have shown us that "with a mothers LOVE, anything is possible"
All funds raised by Pink Phoenix Cancer Foundation during 2014 for our "Kids 4 Cancer" initiative will directly benefit the children and their needs on the Peadiatric Oncology ward at Capital Haemotology Hospital.
Any amount donated to this project would be gratefully appreciated, as every cent counts in making a difference...
Like us on Facebook... we would like to invite you to follow/support the events for this wonderful program.
A special thank you to the children and mothers who shared their day with us and to the folowing people who are the heart and soul of our "Kids 4 Life" initiative.
